I have worked closely with the staff at Purple Sage for 6 plus years and have never had anything but excellent service. The staff is attentive to our every need, always close at hand and more than willing to do whatever it takes to make their guests feel right at home. I have hosted numerous customer outings to the ranch and have never had a negative experience. For the most part as folks are leaving (which they hate to do), they are usually asking “I will be invited back next year, right?”
The ranch is a wonderful place to just kick back and totally relax. To me, the real beauty of the ranch is simply being at the ranch. While there are numerous activities around Bandera to keep you busy, the Purple Sage is the perfect place to curl up in a chair in the lounge, by the pool or on one of the many porches with a good book.
The food at the ranch is some of the best I have ever eaten and has become famous among those who visit. The bar-b-que is out of this world and an experience everyone just has to have the opportunity to enjoy. You wake in the morning to the smell of smoke and meat starting to cook and it just gets better as the day goes on. The home-made ice cream and cookies are definitely to die for.
